kwhikehart - I agree! One idea we received was to get it close to a mass transit stop so someone could leave their bike and still get home, incase they have a lengthier project robertg - we're looking to secure a property mid next year. We've put together a 'timeline' so to speak on what we feel will be the process of opening MotoGarage at www.motogaragechi.com/2014

Ok, I'll check it out. My vote than is on the near west side of Chicago, would be a good central spot. I think most people way out in the suburbs would have their own garages?

roughneck - storing a motorcycle has been on the table very early on. Not only would you need to store a motorcycle during multi day project, but the availability of storage for motorcyclists without garages has been a common suggestion we've received early on. We aren't set on the price, as it's still under community development, but we want to keep it as low as possible to allow people to start, build and complete long projects. Somewhere around the $1-$2 a day range. We also expect to provide classes on how to properly winterize that cycle of yours, so it'll start in the spring . robertg - That's a great point. While we've had people from the suburbs say they may not need a place to store their motorcycle due to having garages, they mentioned they would still like a place to learn how to work on them as well as a place with all the tools necessary. Our goal for the membership benefits is to create an annual membership plan that fits each type of rider and provides an easy place to do even the most routine of maintenance (i.e. I'd rather change my oil around others than in my garage alone). Take a look at the www.motogaragechi.com/design page to get a better idea of what I'm referring to. This is the culmination of what we've developed to date, but your suggestions and input will change it. If you have any ideas please let us know!
